Rating: A
South Park fans rejoice, your
favorite foul-mouthed kids are finally on DVD! Stan, Kyle, Cartman
and Kenny are all here, packed four episodes to a disc. Rude, crude
and funny as hell - kick ass!
Disc Ratings (Video/Audio/Extras):
B+/B+/B
The audio is fine -- lots of noise on the 'net about a crackling
sound on the disc. I didn't hear it, and I played with all three
volumes on a few players. Video looks great, and the extras are the
same as are on the VHS tape: intros by the boys who masterminded the
show, Parker and Stone. You'll also get a commercial for Comedy
Central that's pretty worthless, but it's there.
Overall Rating: B+
For what they're worth, they look great on DVD. I'm a big fan of
animation on DVD. Colors are vibrant and crisp, and there aren't any
commercials like you get when you tape them off TV. |
