Projectile vomiting, cracked and gooey skin, and Donald Pleasance, all come together to give Carpenter fans a psuedo-Exorcist for the 80s. Disc Ratings (Video/Audio/Extras): B+/B+/C I'm giving it points for being 16x9 enhanced, but outside of that, there's nothing special to it. The widescreen greatly suits the film, and it looks wonderful. The sound field is good. All in all, it's a fine disc, and one of the better looking Carpenter films on disc. Overall Rating: B+ The movie freaks me out, especially the ending sequence. What does it all mean? Not to give anything away, but the dream sequence going on throughout the film, coming full circle, gives me the willies.
