Everything he touches turns to gold -- except this. It couldn't make up it's mind. As a comedy, it's simply cute. As a horror film, it's very creepy. As a special effects romp, it rocks the house. Put it all together, and you have a schizo flick. I liked it, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. Disc Ratings (Video/Audio/Extras): B+/B+/D Why Universal would put out a DVD with no real extras, and follow it with an extras-loaded laserdisc a few months later, is beyond me. The overall quality is great. The sound and picture are Universal quality. But damn, what about the extras? Overall Rating: C It's a good standard DVD from Universal, but now I gotta go out and get the laserdisc edition. That ticks me off. Sure I love my laserdisc player, but I just bought the DVD, holmes! Specs and Features 110 mins, R, letterboxed widescreen (2.35:1), 16x9 enhanced, single-sided, singled-layered, Amaray keep case packaging, production notes, cast and crew bios, theatrical trailer, film-themed menus, scene access (16 chapters), languages: English (DD 5.1), French (DD 2.0), subtitles: English & Spanish, Close Captioned Bottom line Like I said, if you're a Jackson fan, it's a no brainer -- buy it.
