Movies That Damn Well Ought To Be On DVD

After a long absence, it's back The Doogan's Views list of Movies That Damn Well Ought To Be On DVD. This is a Digital Bits list, so it includes both mine and Bill's picks for films we want to see on DVD sooner rather than later. This is by no means comprehensive - you all have your favorite films that are missing and we have ours. This just happens to be our two cents.

Some of these films ARE currently being produced as better editions even as we speak. But our point here is to show you all that, even FIVE years into the DVD format, there are still many, many great films that have yet to be given good treatment on disc. So peruse the list and see if you agree. Then you can print it out and use it to keep track of whether the studios are listening. Oh... and if any of these films ARE already on DVD, drop us a line and let me know so we can go out and get it. But keep in mind that we're only talking about Region 1 releases here (we don't have all-region players). And while some of these films have already been releaed, we're often talking about better additions.
