Jeff Kleist's The 3rd Dimension

Well... Blu-ray 3D is here at last, folks! And though Blu-ray 3D is certainly a slow starter sales-wise, nearly every major display manufacturer is adding 3D capability into their new HDTVs line-ups, meaning that it's probably here to stay. With that in mind, and with so many of the major Hollywood studios preparing titles for Blu-ray 3D, we though it was high time to start reviewing them here at The Digital Bits. So our own Jeff Kleist in on the job with his new column: The 3rd Dimension! In the months and years ahead, Jeff will review the movie discs, the technology itself and the at-home 3D experience in general. Digital Bits editor Bill Hunt has also written an in-depth but simple to understand primer (available below) to explain 3D technology to those who may be new to the experience. So click on the links below... and enjoy!
