Rating: B
Goldie Hawn is a very cute lady. Buck Henry has always been a cute
writer. Together they've made a really cute movie about politics and
some of the players involved. Hawn's portrayal of feather-brained
anythings has always been dead on.
Disc Ratings (Video/Audio/Extras):
B-/C-/F
The transfer is pretty grainy and digitally noisy. It's not so bad
that you can't watch it, but if you're looking for quality, this
will annoy you. The audio is okay, but there are no features at all.
Overall Rating: C+
Lame transfer, good movie. Warner is cheating the DVD format, but
their library is huge. It's a Catch 22 for us fans, isn't it? |
Specs
and Features
96 mins, PG, full frame (1.33:1), single-sided, single-layered,
Snapper case, scene access (26 chapters), language: English (DD
2.0), subtitles: English, Close Captioned
Bottom line
One of Goldie's funnier movies, released as a pan & scan,
movie-only DVD. This flick would have been pretty standard anyway,
but at least give us a widescreen transfer, huh Warner?
